about us
House of Risk is a specialist risk and assurance consultancy working with social housing providers and wider public interest organisations. We help boards, executive teams, and risk practitioners build governance and risk frameworks that are practical, proportionate, and genuinely useful in everyday decision-making.

Our work is grounded in real practitioner experience. We’ve sat in the seats our clients sit in; leading risk functions, presenting to boards, and embedding frameworks that have to work on a Monday morning, not just on paper.
We tailor our services to meet the needs of each client’s individual requirements and ensure that Boards and Committees feel assured that their organisation has appropriate corporate assurances in place.

House of Risk Director and Founder
Becky founded House of Risk after over 16 years in social housing and 21+ years in risk management, including senior leadership roles.
Alongside running the consultancy, she serves as a Non-Executive Director on an Audit and Assurance Committee; bringing current, live governance experience into every client engagement.
She is known for making complex governance topics accessible without losing rigour, and for facilitation that helps boards and leadership teams reach genuine consensus rather than polite agreement.
